Seafood Sunday & Live Jazz
Teutonic Wine Company
3303 SE 20th Ave. Portland, OR 97202
This Pluff Pop-up is Barnaby’s baby. Pluff (or plough) is a term used to describe the aromatic, gooey tidal mud in Low-country areas such as Charleston, SC. As the locals describe it, if you step in it, you will quickly sink up to your knees. When you extricate your foot, you will undoubtedly lose your shoe and hear a loud sucking sound.
We will be preparing two boils, one a Szechuan Crawfish Boil using traditional Chinse spices (yes, it’s going to be hot!) and a Low-Country Shirmp Boil. Native to South Carolina, Boyd Pearson will be leading the charge on this one. We’ll also have Hush Puppies, Fried Oysters and Bacon-Grits as sides.
Guest wineries Anne Amie and Fause Piste too! Live jazz music starts at 1:30 pm.
No need to RSVP, but we advise you to show up early.
